Name

'Tutsi' means rich in cattle. They were known as Watusi or Batusi by local members, but a nearby tribe, the Hutu, recognize the Tutsi as the western foreigners. However, the Tutsi lived in the city of Bukavu, so they were known as the Banyamulenge by most locals.
